a tribute to a talented director

Richard "RZR" Regan

Richard "RZR" Regan was an actor, director, comedian and much more who lived and worked in the Los Angeles area, and later the San Francisco area.  He did film and video work for Disney, Paramount, and a large variety of fortune 500 companies across the nation.  At the age of 53, he was tragically taken from us as a result of pancreatic cancer.  The items below are intended to give you a sense of who he was and how he worked, and to pay tribute to him.

A Tribute to RZR (4 minute audio):
By his wife, played at his memorial service.  This audio is not only interesting and informative in itself, it also shows how audio can be powerfully used in solemn or special occasions.
RZR the Director (5 min video):
A look at RZR on the set and in his element of directing a 3-screen production of a wild west comedy movie for a major banking institution.  You'll see three segments:  around the table before the shoot;  on the set;  and the finished 3-screen scene.
RZR the Musician, Actor, and Comedian (4 minute video montage)
Using his own version of  the song, "Taking Care of Business," this video shows RZR in a wide range of roles.  He wrote the lyrics, sang all the parts, and played the instruments for all of this video;  and he shot and edited most of the original footage used here.  Keep in mind that some of this footage (like his RZR TeleVision Productions Logo), was made 20 or so years ago.
Ultimate Soldier (90 second video):
This is a 90 second commercial which RZR wrote, meticulously shot (frame-by-frame), and edited for 21st Century Toys.
